We're looking for a Field Applications Engineer to play a pivotal role in supporting the technical aspects of customer engagements, from design wins to production. As a key member of the team, you'll bridge the gap between engineering, sales, and our customers, helping them leverage our cutting-edge Neural Decision Processors in innovative applications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Become an Expert: Develop in-depth technical expertise in our advanced AI and semiconductor technologies and become the go-to resource for customers.
  • Drive Customer Success: Collaborate closely with sales and product management to secure customer designs and guide them through the path to production.
  • Provide Technical Support: Answer customer queries on the use and application of our technology, ensuring their success and satisfaction.
  • Training and Enablement: Train customers and internal teams on the technical aspects of our solutions, empowering them to use our technology to its fullest potential.
  • Collaboration: Work with core engineering teams to provide feedback and drive product enhancements based on customer needs and real-world applications.

Qualifications:

  • Industry Experience: 6 years in a technical customer-facing role, such as Field Applications Engineering, Solutions Engineering, or a similar function.
  • Educational Background: B.Sc or M.Sc in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Python and C for customer and lab software development. Experience with hardware debugging and development is a plus.
  • Communication Skills: Strong interpersonal and presentation abilities to effectively communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Travel: Willingness to travel up to 50% for customer visits, R&D collaboration, and site engagements. Some out-of-geography travel may be required.

Desirable:

  • Machine Learning Knowledge: Understanding of machine learning principles, especially in embedded or hardware-accelerated environments.
  • Customer-Focused: Ability to build relationships with customers and understand their needs to ensure successful implementation and usage of our technology.
