As we scale, we're looking for a talented Senior Full-Stack Engineer to help us bring our vision to life.
Role Overview:
As a Senior Full-Stack Engineer, you'll be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying both frontend and backend systems for our next-generation products. You will leverage modern technologies like React, NextJS, Typescript, and Python to build powerful, scalable web-based tools for video and audio creation. Your work will directly contribute to empowering creatives with cutting-edge tools while collaborating with product and design teams to create seamless, user-friendly experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain frontend applications using React, NextJS, and Typescript
- Develop backend services and APIs, and deploy them to a Kubernetes infrastructure
- Work with modern audio/video standards (Webcodecs, WebRTC, FFMPEG, HLS, MP4, etc.)
- Collaborate with engineers and researchers to integrate AI-driven technologies into our products
- Implement event streaming and processing using platforms like SQS, Kafka, and DynamoDB
- Contribute to the architecture and scalability of cloud infrastructure, utilizing AWS and Kubernetes
Must-Have Qualifications:
- 5 years of professional experience with Javascript, React, NextJS, and Typescript
- Strong experience in both frontend and backend development with a focus on product delivery
- Familiarity with audio/video web technologies (Webcodecs, FFMPEG, HLS, MP-DASH)
- Experience working in a fast-paced, startup environment
- Passionate about creating impactful, user-driven products that empower content creators
Nice-to-Have Skills:
- Experience with Python or Golang for backend development
- Familiarity with authentication/authorization protocols such as OAuth2 and OIDC
- Experience with both relational and NoSQL databases (e.g., DynamoDB)
- Experience with event-driven tools such as SQS, Kafka, and cloud-based infrastructure (Kubernetes, AWS)
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, unit testing, and integration testing
