Role Summary:
My client is seeking a Bid Analyst to lead and manage the proposal and bid response process. This role is critical in ensuring the preparation of high-quality, compliant, and competitive submissions for RFBs, RFPs, and RFQs. The Bid Analyst will work cross-functionally with teams such as sales, engineering, and procurement to gather data, meet deadlines, and ensure that all documentation aligns with customer requirements.
The ideal candidate is a proactive, detail-oriented professional with experience in proposal writing, contract analysis, and procurement processes. Background knowledge of the transit or transportation industry is a plus.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze RFBs/RFPs/RFQs to ensure accurate, complete, and compliant submissions.
- Prepare and coordinate all bid documentation according to customer specifications and deadlines.
- Format, collate, and present proposals in alignment with customer and internal standards.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external vendors to gather bid content.
- Ensure timely submission of all bids while maintaining quality and compliance.
- Maintain and update a centralized bid opportunity database.
- Conduct market and competitor research to evaluate new opportunities.
- Develop familiarity with the company’s products and services to support proposal development.

Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, English, Communications, Operations, or a related field (preferred).
- Experience: 2–4 years in a corporate, government, or procurement-related environment.
- Experience with proposal or contract writing and project coordination.
- Familiarity with procurement processes and government bidding procedures.
- Experience in the transit or transportation industry is a plus.
