Overview
We’re supporting a global media & entertainment organization on a high-impact data transformation initiative and are looking for a Senior Power BI Developer to join on a 9-month contract.
This role will play a key part in designing and delivering enterprise-level reporting solutions, enabling business stakeholders to make data-driven decisions across multiple business units.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain advanced Power BI dashboards and reports
- Partner with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into scalable BI solutions
- Build and optimize data models, datasets, and DAX calculations
- Integrate data from multiple sources (ERP, CRM, cloud platforms, etc.)
- Ensure performance optimization, data accuracy, and governance best practices
- Support ongoing enhancements and troubleshoot reporting issues
Required Experience
- 7+ years of experience in BI/Data Analyticsroles
- Strong expertise in Microsoft Power BI(Desktop & Service)
- Advanced skills in DAX, Power Query (M), and data modeling
- Experience working with large, complex datasetsin enterprise environments
- Strong SQL skills and experience with relational databases
- Proven experience in stakeholder-facing roleswithin fast-paced environments
Nice to Have
- Experience in media, entertainment, or streaming industries
- Exposure to Azure (Data Factory, Synapse, or Databricks)
- Familiarity with data governance and security frameworks
- Prior consulting or contract experience
