We’re currently supporting a client who is looking Senior Industrial Wastewater Engineer.
In this role, you’ll lead and mentor junior engineers while partnering with senior leadership across the U.S. to guide industrial wastewater treatment projects from concept through execution. You’ll play a key role in delivering solutions that directly impact client outcomes while contributing to the growth and development of the team.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead industrial wastewater treatment projects from early-stage design through construction, including collection, conveyance, and treatment systems
- Oversee project execution activities such as equipment selection, procurement, and coordination during the construction phase
- Guide and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop technical deliverables, including design reports, process diagrams, and operational documentation
- Support project work through treatability evaluations, troubleshooting existing systems, and working with clients, regulators, and internal teams throughout the process
You will bring
- 10+ years of experience in industrial wastewater design, including time serving as a project or technical lead
- Bachelor’s degree in civil, Environmental, Mechanical, or Chemical Engineering (ABET-accredited), with a PE license required or in progress
- Proficiency with common engineering tools and documentation, including AutoCAD, Excel, and preparation of technical deliverables
- Strong communication and leadership abilities, with experience collaborating with clients, regulators, and internal teams, along with exposure to business development or client growth activities
