Preconstruction Manager – Glass & Glazing
We’re seeking an experienced Preconstruction Manager to lead estimating and preconstruction efforts for commercial glass and glazing projects in the Seattle area. This role is responsible for managing budgets, coordinating with design teams, and ensuring accurate, competitive bids from concept through project handoff.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead all preconstruction activities including budgeting, estimating, and bid preparation
- Review drawings, specifications, and project documents for scope and constructability
- Coordinate with architects, general contractors, and internal project teams
- Solicit and evaluate vendor and subcontractor pricing
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and value engineering solutions
- Manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in preconstruction, estimating, or project management within glass & glazing or related construction trades
- Strong knowledge of curtain wall, storefront systems, and fabrication/installation processes
- Proficiency in estimating software and construction documents
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
