Senior FPGA & Embedded Systems Engineer – Wearables (Zynq / Linux)
We’re partnering with a leading design house building next-generation smart glasses and wearable devices with major tech collaborators. This role sits at the core of developing real-time vision and sensor processing systems for advanced AR/wearable platforms.
You’ll work across FPGA and embedded Linux on AMD Xilinx Zynq / Zynq UltraScale+, building tightly integrated hardware–software systems that power camera pipelines, sensor fusion, and low-latency processing.
You’ll be responsible for FPGA development, embedded Linux bring-up, and full system integration from board bring-up through to production deployment.
Key requirements:
- 10–15 years’ experience in FPGA / embedded systems engineering
- Strong hands-on experience with Xilinx Zynq / Zynq UltraScale+
- Deep experience with PetaLinux / embedded Linux bring-up (kernel, drivers, bootloaders)
- Strong RTL development skills (Verilog / SystemVerilog / VHDL)
- Proficiency in Vivado and FPGA design flows (timing closure, constraints, IP integration)
- Strong C/C++ for embedded Linux development
- Understanding of AXI and common embedded interfaces (DDR, SPI, I²C, UART, Ethernet)
Nice to have:
- Experience with vision systems, camera pipelines (MIPI), or display interfaces
- Driver development or BSP customization experience
- Experience with UltraScale+ MPSoC
- Exposure to production hardware / product deployment environments
This is a rare opportunity to work on real wearable products where FPGA acceleration and embedded Linux combine to enable next-generation AR experiences.
