Currently partnered with a growing MIT spinout startup company that specializes in cathode development and materials characterization for EV applications. Our client is looking to scale up their novel cathode material and make lithium-ion batteries cheaper, lighter, and more sustainable.
They are looking for a Lead Engineer / Scientist who can take charge in the growth of their organic material production.

Responsibilities:
- Characterizing and optimizing a nonmainstream cathode material (Very hands-on)
- Utilizing failure analysis, troubleshooting, and validation methods to evaluate performance in coin and mutli-layer pouch cells
- Leading a small team of junior engineers and scientists
Qualifications:
- 4+ years of industrial experience after PhD
- PhD in Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or any similar field.
- Experience with novel cathode and / or electrolyte materials
- Background in organic chemistry / materials
