We are looking for Electrical & Instrumentation and Controls (I&C) Engineer to support and execute the design, integration, testing, and implementation of electrical power systems, industrial controls, and instrumentation systems. This candidate will ensure that equipment such as motor control centers (MCCs), control panels, PLC cabinets, field instruments, and automation systems work reliably and safely together across projects. They will collaborate across disciplines to deliver integrated system solutions with attention to detail, safety, and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and support integration of electrical power distribution systems with I&C and automation systems, ensuring integrated system performance according to requirements.
  • Develop, maintain, and review technical documentation including electrical one-lines, schematics, instrument lists, IO drawings, and control panel layouts.
  • Assist in installation coordination, testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting of field instrumentation devices, PLCs, control panels, MCCs, and associated electrical equipment.
  • Work with technicians, engineers, and external teams to support faults, integration issues, and system optimization.
  • Interpret and apply electrical and instrumentation standards, codes, and best practices (e.g., NEC, NFPA, ISA).
  • Support risk identification, mitigation, and safety compliance across I&C and electrical activities.
  • Assist with configuration and programming support for PLCs/HMIs and integration of control logic where required.
  • Communicate system status, issues, and recommendations to stakeholders and leadership.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of processes and control system documentation standards.

Required Qualifications:

  • United States citizenship

  • Proficiency reading and interpreting electrical schematics, P&IDs, loop diagrams, and control logic documentation.
  • Strong communication and organization skills to coordinate cross-discipline tasks and technical details.

Preferred Qualifications (if applicable):

  • Experience programming or supporting PLCs and HMIs (Allen-Bradley, Siemens, etc.).
  • Familiarity with electrical codes and control system standards (NEC, NFPA, ISA).
  • Prior experience in regulated or industrial environments (e.g., manufacturing, energy, utilities).
