Our client is looking for a Nuclear Engineer in Texas, USA to support radiological analysis and safety activities for a large-scale engineering program in the United States.
Responsibilities:
- Support the build, assembly, and integration of nuclear or nuclear-adjacent systems and components
- Work closely with technicians and engineers to troubleshoot test and build issues and iterate designs
- Assist with fabrication, fit-up, testing, and validation activities, ensuring systems are safe, robust, and buildable
Preferred Qualifications:
- B.S. in Nuclear Engineering/ Mechanical Engineering or related degree
- Familiarity with MCNP (Monte-Carlo N-Particle), SCALE, or other nuclear codes
- Hands-on experience including but not limited to laboratory testing, prototype builds, senior design projects, research reactors, or industrial hardware environments
