Quality Engineer – Industrial Operations – West Texas
An advanced industrial organization is seeking a Quality Engineer to support quality systems and corrective action activities within safety-critical industrial operations. This role is ideal for a hands-on quality professional experienced in regulated, high-reliability environments.
The Quality Engineer will play a key role in ensuring compliance with quality standards, supporting engineering and operations teams, and driving disciplined quality practices across the facility. The ideal candidate understands quality systems in regulated environments where accuracy, traceability, and operational excellence are essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Support and maintain the Quality Management System (QMS).
- Lead Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA) activities.
- Lead and close 8D corrective action investigations, including root cause analysis and effectiveness verification.
- Support audits, inspections, and regulatory reviews.
- Develop and maintain quality procedures, work instructions, and records.
- Partner with engineering and operations teams to ensure quality requirements are embedded in daily activities.
Required / Preferred Experience
- NQA-1 experience strongly preferred.
- Candidates without NQA-1 will be considered if they have strong FMEA (Failure Mode and Effects Analysis) and 8D corrective action experience.
- 5+ years of quality engineering or quality assurance experience in industrial, power, nuclear-adjacent, or other safety-critical environments.
- Experience working in regulated facilities and supporting audits.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

- Outside of Fort Worth, TX (local or relocation).
