Vehicles are becoming software-defined, data-rich platforms — generating massive real-time telemetry across performance, diagnostics, safety, and environment. A fast-growing automotive software company is building AI and agent-based systems that help manufacturers turn this data into intelligent, real-time insights and automated vehicle support. They are hiring a Senior / Staff AI Engineer to lead advanced applied AI initiatives in this space.

Role

Lead end-to-end AI development for production systems that combine LLMs, RAG, time-series, computer vision, and classical ML. This is a hands-on senior role requiring both breadth and depth across ML/AI, with impact on real-world, large-scale deployments.

What You’ll Do

  • Build and deploy AI models and services end to end
  • Apply LLMs, RAG, retrieval, and agent-style AI systems
  • Work across multiple AI domains (LLM, CV, time-series, ML)
  • Fine-tune large models for domain use cases
  • Design vector search and retrieval pipelines
  • Turn large, complex datasets into production AI solutions
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable systems

Requirements

  • 7+ years in ML/AI engineering or applied AI
  • Strong breadth + depth across ML/AI techniques
  • Experience with LLMs and modern AI stacks
  • Python or C++ plus PyTorch / Scikit-learn / data tooling
  • Vector DB & retrieval stacks (FAISS, HNSW, Chroma, Elasticsearch)
  • Data engineering tools (Spark, Databricks, Dataflow) + SQL
  • Parallelization and production deployment experience
  • Strong software engineering practices

Strong Plus

  • Automotive, mobility, embedded, or edge AI experience
  • AI in safety-critical or large-scale production systems
