Our client is looking for a Thermal Fluids Engineer in Austin, TX to support advanced nuclear energy projects. This role focuses on analysis, modeling, and design of heat transfer and fluid flow systems.
Responsibilities:
- Lead design and analysis of thermal systems and components, ensuring performance and safety
- Develop and validate thermal-fluid models to support system-level design decisions
- Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate solutions and support project execution
Preferred Qualifications:
- Degree in Mechanical, Nuclear, or related engineering field
- 3+ years of thermal–fluids or heat transfer experience
- Familiarity with RELAP, TRACE, Fluent, STAR-CCM+, or similar tools
- Strong fundamentals in thermodynamics, heat transfer, and fluid mechanics
