We’re working with a medical technology manufacturer looking to bring on an Assembly Process Engineer to support and improve their production operations.
This is a hands-on role where you’ll own assembly process optimization, line setup, and continuous improvement for products that directly impact patient care.
Start Date: ASAP
Base Requirements:
- BS in Mechanical Engineering
- US work authorization (no sponsorship available)
- Located Locally (no relocation allowance allocated)
Job Responsibilities:
- Own assembly processes end-to-end (line setup, workflows, documentation)
- Improve efficiency, quality, and safety on the manufacturing floor
- Work with tooling, fixtures, and process development
- Partner cross-functionally + interface with customers on manufacturing/quality topics
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives (Lean / Six Sigma)
- Support training + rollout of new processes/products
Preferred Requirements:
- 2+ years in mechanical assembly / manufacturing engineering
- Experience with assembly lines or full product builds
- Strong blueprint reading + troubleshooting
- CAD exposure (SolidWorks or similar)
- Bonus: Lean / Six Sigma background
