About the role
Most first jobs give you a desk and a to-do list. This one gives you a market to build. Our Miami team recruits across construction, clean energy, embedded and semiconductor, martech, data and engineering, so there’s plenty of room to find a space you’re genuinely interested in. As an Associate Consultant, you’ll learn how that market works, who the key players are, and how to become the person they call when they need to hire.
You don’t need a background in recruitment. Your training starts on day one with classroom sessions, desk-side coaching and regular one-to-one feedback, and our promotion path makes it clear what you need to hit to move up.
Our Miami office opened in 2017, and plenty of the people who started here early in their careers now lead teams of their own. Lumicity also has offices in Los Angeles, Houston and Chicago, and we’re part of G2V Group, which operates across the UK and Europe too. Main responsibilities
- Research your market and build a network of candidates and clients
- Reach out to new businesses and turn conversations into partnerships
- Qualify candidates and manage them through interviews to offer
- Negotiate terms and close placements
- Work alongside experienced consultants and learn what makes them successful
Requirements
- Driven by targets and the earning potential that comes with them
- Naturally curious and happy to start conversations with people you don’t know yet
- Resilient, coachable and keen to improve
- Organized and able to manage a busy day
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred
The offer
- $40,000 base + uncapped commission (OTE $75,000 in year one)
- 15 days PTO, rising with promotion, plus 10 federal holidays
