Our client, a well-established commercial drywall contractor with a strong backlog of work, is seeking an experienced Commercial Drywall Project Manager to oversee drywall and interior systems projects throughout New Jersey. This role manages projects from preconstruction through closeout, ensuring schedules, budgets, quality, and client expectations are met – with excellent opportunities for long-term career growth.
Responsibilities
- Manage commercial drywall and interior systems projects from preconstruction through closeout
- Oversee project schedules, budgets, and quality across multiple active projects
- Ensure client expectations are met throughout the project lifecycle
- Read and interpret construction drawings, project schedules, and structural specification sheets
- Coordinate with clients, subcontractors, and site teams to keep projects on track
Skills & Qualifications
- Strong background in drywall and interior systems
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
- Skilled in reading construction drawings, schedules, and structural specifications
- 4–6 years of experience in a similar Project Manager role
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Valid driver’s license
