About the role
Our client is an established water treatment company. It’s adding a Director of Business Development to lead growth in the Food & Beverage manufacturing sector across North America. The focus is new business, selling engineered water and wastewater treatment solutions to manufacturers whose operations depend on reliable water quality and effective wastewater management.
Food and beverage plants deal with a wide range of water challenges. They need consistent process water quality, and they have to manage high-strength wastewater that’s often heavy in BOD, COD, and fats, oils, and grease. They also face growing pressure to reduce water use through reuse and recycling. You’ll work with plant and engineering leaders to understand those challenges, and propose solutions involving process water treatment, wastewater treatment, water reuse, reverse osmosis, filtration, and disinfection.
Alongside manufacturers, you’ll build relationships with EPCs, consultants, and system integrators who influence how projects are scoped and delivered. The opportunities are complex capital equipment and engineered system sales. That requires both technical depth and the commercial judgment to move multi-stakeholder deals to close.
The organization is looking for a proven hunter who can build pipeline in this sector and grow the business across the region.
