Head of Operations – Hardware & Software Platform
Lumicity is partnered with a well-funded, fast-growing start-up in Atlanta, GA, backed by industry leaders and investors, in their search for a Head of Operations to lead vendor management, procurement, and delivery operations for a hardware and software platform.
This is a newly created executive seat, reporting directly to the CEO and sitting on the leadership team. It’s a hands-on, execution-focused operations role – not a broad cross-functional or general management position.
Requirements
- 8–10+ years of operations experience, with a track record of scaling an operations function (0→1 or 1→100)
- Background in physical product, construction, or field-services businesses
- Direct, hands-on ownership of vendor relationships and hardware sourcing — not a strategy-only or oversight role
- ERP implementation ownership experience strongly preferred
- Industrial hardware or controls/automation-adjacent background a plus
- Career spent primarily in supply chain, procurement, or operations — not as a generalist executive
