About the role

Our client is looking for a Manufacturing Engineer to improve production processes and support new processes as they move from development into manufacturing. The role sits in a regulated environment, where process control, documentation, and quality are as important as efficiency.

A large part of the work is continuous improvement. You’ll drive Lean improvements to increase yield, efficiency, and throughput, typically using tools such as value stream mapping, 5S, standard work, and statistical process control (SPC). When problems come up, you’ll lead root cause investigations using methods like 5 Whys, fishbone analysis, or FMEA, and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).

You’ll also support process transfer and scale-up from development into production. That includes executing process qualification (PQ), which in regulated manufacturing usually follows installation and operational qualification (IQ/OQ), and assessing whether processes are ready for full production. Alongside this, you’ll develop and improve the SOPs, work instructions, and process documentation that keep production consistent and compliant.

Main responsibilities
  • Drive Lean improvements to increase yield, efficiency, and throughput
  • Lead root cause investigations and CAPA implementation activities
  • Support process transfer and scale-up from development into production
  • Execute process qualification (PQ) and assess production readiness
  • Develop and improve SOPs, work instructions, and process documentation
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Industrial Engineering, or a related field
  • 3-7 years of manufacturing or process engineering experience
  • Background in regulated industries
  • Experience applying Lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement
  • Strong troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and communication skills

This role suits a manufacturing engineer with a regulated industry background who enjoys improving processes and taking new products into production. If that sounds like you, apply below.
