Location: San Francisco, CA / Full-time / On-site
About the role
Our client is looking for Robot Operators to support the testing and development of its robotics technology. You’ll operate specialized robotic devices by hand, collect high-quality data, and give feedback that helps engineering teams improve the systems.
Day to day, you’ll carry out tasks using the robotic equipment over multi-hour shifts. Roles like this commonly involve controlling a robot directly or through teleoperation, repeating tasks consistently so the data captured is reliable and useful for development. Accuracy matters, so a careful, methodical approach is as important as physical dexterity.
Your observations are part of the job too. Engineering teams rely on operator feedback to understand how the equipment performs in practice, what’s working, and what needs to change.
This is a good starting point for someone interested in a career in robotics or emerging technologies, and it doesn’t require a technical background.
