Role Overview
Seeking a Senior Clinical Engineer to support product development by defining requirements, conducting testing, and ensuring safe and effective product use. This role collaborates closely with product, engineering, and commercial teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Build deep understanding of clinical procedures, anatomy, and care environments
- Support product use in clinical settings and guide onboarding processes
- Gather user insights to identify unmet needs and inform product strategy
- Translate clinical and business needs into design requirements
- Partner with engineering on product development
- Develop and execute testing protocols (preclinical, usability, validation)
- Evaluate clinical performance, usability, and risk
- Document workflows and support regulatory submissions
- Own clinical engineering deliverables across the product lifecycle
Qualifications
- 3+ years in medical device or related industry
- Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Experience with clinical testing and regulatory processes
- Ability to work cross-functionally and in fast-paced environments
- High adaptability, attention to detail, and independent drive
- Advanced technical degree preferred
