About the role
Our client is a clean energy technology company scaling its operations across multiple sites. It’s hiring a Senior IT Manager to take ownership of infrastructure, security, end-user support, and enterprise technology, and to lead IT as the business grows.
This is a hands-on leadership role. You’ll manage a small IT team, vendors, and budgets while staying technically involved. That includes managing and improving network infrastructure, the Microsoft 365 environment, and cybersecurity programs. In practice, Microsoft 365 environments like this typically involve Entra ID, Intune for device management, Exchange Online, and Microsoft Defender. Security programs are commonly built around frameworks such as NIST CSF or the CIS Controls.
You’ll also lead IT operations across multiple office and site locations, including office expansions and build-outs, infrastructure upgrades, and system migrations. Alongside project work, you’ll oversee the help desk to make sure employees get reliable, responsive support. You’ll also put the foundations in place for scale, developing IT policies, asset management processes, and disaster recovery plans.
Main responsibilities
- Lead IT operations across multiple office and site locations

- Oversee help desk support and ensure a high-quality internal user experience
- Drive IT projects including office expansions, infrastructure upgrades, and system migrations
- Develop IT policies, asset management processes, and disaster recovery plans
- Manage vendors, budgets, and a small IT team while remaining technically hands-on
Requirements
- 6+ years of IT experience, including leadership of an IT team or function
- Strong expertise in networking, Microsoft 365, systems administration, and IT security
- Proven experience delivering large-scale IT projects from planning through implementation
- Experience supporting multi-site environments and office build-outs
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
