We are seeking a Senior Robotics Engineer to design, build, and deploy automation systems for next-generation manufacturing. This role focuses on developing robotic systems from the ground up, including production equipment, material handling solutions, and integrated workflows. The ideal candidate is hands-on, systems-oriented, and experienced in taking concepts from early design through full-scale production.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop robotic systems for manufacturing applications, including end-of-line automation and in-process handling
- Build and integrate production equipment from scratch, including mechanical, electrical, and control components
- Develop efficient material flow strategies across manufacturing lines, optimizing throughput and minimizing bottlenecks
- Program and configure industrial robots, PLCs, and control systems
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (mechanical, electrical, software, operations) to deliver complete automation solutions
- Lead system commissioning, debugging, and validation in production environments
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement automation upgrades
- Create and maintain technical documentation, including system layouts, schematics, and operating procedures
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and manufacturing best practices
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Robotics, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field
- 3+ years of experience designing and implementing robotic systems in manufacturing or industrial environments
- Strong understanding of material flow, manufacturing processes, and system integration
- Proven experience building automation systems or production equipment from scratch
- Experience with robot programming (e.g., FANUC, ABB, KUKA, or similar)
- Familiarity with PLC programming and industrial communication protocols
- Ability to troubleshoot complex electromechanical systems
- Hands-on experience with mechanical design, sensors, actuators, and control systems
