Traveling Superintendent – Tilt Wall & Light Industrial Construction

Salary: $120,000 – $160,000 (based on experience)
We’re seeking an experienced Superintendent to join a growing construction team delivering large-scale tilt wall and light industrial projects across the United States. This individual will oversee all field operations, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards – a great fit for a Superintendent who enjoys travel and ground-up, complex construction work.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage all on-site construction activities from project start through completion
- Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, vendors, field personnel, and daily jobsite operations
- Maintain and drive project schedules while identifying and resolving potential delays
- Ensure work is completed in accordance with project plans, specifications, quality standards, and safety requirements
- Conduct regular site meetings and coordinate with Project Managers and project stakeholders
- Manage project logistics, sequencing, inspections, and closeout activities
- Maintain a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with company and site safety requirements
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and project teams
Qualifications
- 5+ years as a Superintendent within commercial or industrial construction
- Experience managing ground-up tilt wall and/or light industrial projects
- Strong understanding of construction means and methods, scheduling, sequencing, and jobsite logistics
- Willingness to travel extensively for projects across the United States
- Strong leadership and communication skills, managing multiple subcontractors and field teams
- Experience with construction management software preferred
- OSHA 30 certification preferred
Compensation & Benefits
- Base salary of $120,000–$160,000, depending on experience
